BCEM wins Sports Emmy Awards for Fox Sports broadcast studio

BC Event Management is pleased to announce that company President David Clark and Director of Production Shane Droucker won Sports Emmy Awards from the National Academy of TV Arts & Sciences for the construction of the Fox Sports Studio on Jack Poole Plaza for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015.
Summer 2015 Update

What an exciting Spring we had at BC Event Management. We constructed the Fox Sports media headquarters for its American TV coverage of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015. We also produced all of the social events for two large city wide conferences.

Last month the BC Event Management team was thrilled to produce an entire conference for a BC based organization. Components executed by the our team included ground transportation, hotel management, opening party at the Westin pool, gala at the Vancouver Convention Centre, off-site events, dine around and the business meetings.

Opening of the New Vancouver Convention Centre

BC Event Management was chosen by the Vancouver Convention Centre (VCC) to produce the opening event of their newly expanded facilities. The VCC looked to award-winning producer David Clark and his team to creatively showcase the varied capabilities of their new world-class convention space. 2000 VIP guests were treated to a progressive event that began with an exciting reveal in the exhibition hall and culminated with a dramatic spectacle in Canada’s largest convention centre ballroom.
BCEM Wins Top Prize at the Canadian Event Industry Awards

Vancouver, April 2, 2012 – BC Event Management presented its original entertainment experience for a record setting 4,500 guests on the occasion of IBEW’s International Convention at the Vancouver Convention Centre. The ballroom doors opened to reveal a 35-foot high marionette picking up performers and having them perform their acts while suspended under its hands. The next element that caught guests’ eyes was BC Event Management’s own 150 foot wide MegaVideo™ screen which displayed: graphics, logos, stills, video playback, live video, Picture-in-Picture and a countdown clock. All content was client specific.
2010 Vancouver Games

Everyone who attended the many pavilions during the 2010 Vancouver Games will remember the two most prominent pavilions on the Olympic skyline. As designer, builder, and operations partner for the Saskatchewan Pavilion at Concord Pacific Place, BCEM exceeded attendance rates by over 350%. Press accolades abounded including compliments from the Wall Street Journal. Prominent guests included the US Ambassador, two Canadian Premiers and other dignitaries. Boasting a translucent rear-projected video sphere, and a massive white free span party tent, Saskatchewan Tourism was thrilled with their landmark installations.
The World Urban Forum

The UN’s World Urban Forum was held in Vancouver in June 2006. BCEM was honored to have been chosen to design and build the host Canadian Pavilion and five key displays and features areas. We also designed and installed the site graphics for this prestigious United Nations gathering. Our installations included The 5500 square foot Canadian Pavilion, the Entrance Garden and Gallery, Women’s International Bazaar, Site Wide Banners & Hardwall Graphics, and more.
